8 oz. Bottle SLS-Free Shower Gel
Sodium Laurel Sulfate, also known as SLS, is a chemical foaming agent in liquid and bar soaps, as well as toothpaste and makeup. It does an excellent job of producing lots of bubbles and cutting through dirt and grease, but the side effects are frightening. According to the "American College of Toxicity" report, SLS has been shown to easily penetrate the skin causing inflammation of the skin's surface, as well as organs such as the heart, liver, lungs and brain. Many people have also experienced hair loss and thinning due to this ingredient, which is found in almost every commercial shampoo and conditioner.
It wasn't easy developing a natural shower gel that could get you clean, and still be thick enough to stay where you need it. After many months of research and testing, not only does this gel do both, but it has an almost milky texture when you rub it on, producing a small, creamy lather that will keep your skin soft and smooth for hours.
Our "SLS-Free Shower Gel" does not contain Sodium Laurel Sulfate or chemical preservatives.
Ingredients: distilled water, saponified coconut, olive & jojoba oils, guar gum, salt, kukui nut oil, rosemary extract, aloe vera, glycerine, polysorbate (vegetable emulsifier), chamomile extract, calendula extract, grapefruit seed extract, Vitamin E, potassium sorbate, Vitamin C, baking soda.
